Toyota Cold Air Intake

Toyota cold air intake. A cold air intake is a device that is used to allow your car to breathe from the exterior area of the engine compartment. It is used to combine fuel and cold air that can add to the engine power output. Since the vehicle is able to take in dense air, it facilitates efficient fuel burning during the engine combustion process. Because of this, you can immediately see an enhancement in the performance and power of your Toyota.

Compared to the basic air filter that is installed in the engine, a cold air intake allows you to take in more amount of colder air due to its location in the engine compartment. It has a more consistent ability to allow air to circulate inside the engine and eliminate the presence of heat due to the extreme temperature during combustion. The problem with some intake is that they only allow the entrance of air but do not get rid of the heat. This is where the cold air intake has an advantage. It re-directs the cold air from passing and absorbing the heat under the hood portions of the car. It is able to pass on cooler, denser air in huge amounts and greater velocities to the throttle body of the car.
